Pure Sangiovese from a selection of twenty-eight clones. 

It rests for six years in Slavonian oak casks, barriques and tonneaux,

with further ageing for two years in the bottle. 

Poggio ai Chiari is a fine, elegant wine

capable of refining over time, acquiring a bouquet of rare complexity.

The typical red fruit notes over time evolve into complex tertiary aromas such as spices, leather, cinnamon and nutmeg,

releasing taste sensations of rare elegance and a tannic silkiness typical of the greatest red wines.
