SELVETELLE Greco di Tufo DOCG

The Centrella family's two small vineyards, one hectare in all, rest on old sulphur mines in Torrioni, one of the eight towns in Irpinia where Greco di Tufo DOCG is produced.

The vines are planted in the traditional Tendone Avellinese style.

The only wine produced is Selvetelle, the toponym of one of the company's two vineyards. Its production is limited to about three thousand bottles a year.

Carlo Centrella's Greco di Tufo is not a white wine, but 'golden yellow'.

A white wine with red wine potential: high acidity and predisposed to long ageing.
