Grechetto is the main autochthonous white varietal of Umbria. When blended it is widespread in the Orvieto area, while pure in the Colli Martani whose territory is part of Montefalco.

The winery, one of the oldest in the denomination, has been owned by the Antonelli family since 1881. Comprising a single body in the centre of the DOCG area of Montefalco, since 2009 it has fully converted to certified organic farming for all production.
