The Jankara vineyard lies among the hills of Alta Gallura, in north-eastern Sardinia, about 300 metres above sea level, in the prestigious ‘Vena di San Leonardo’ area. The area has a unique microclimate, with a wide temperature range created by Lake Liscia and Mount Limbara, and its granite soils produce grapes of exceptional quality and complexity, which are used to make an excellent Vermentino di Gallura with a complex minerality.

Grapes: 100% Vermentino
Yield per vine: 1,3 Kg.
Area of production: Vena di San Leonardo, Cru Jannaca. 300 mt. a.s.l.
Harvest: exclusively picked and selected by hand in 20 Kg. boxes, Mid-September.
Training: Guyot, 5000 vines per hectar.
Vineyard age: planted in 2008.
Vinification: 100% stainless steel tank temperature controlled fermentation, after which the wine rests in tank until late March before bottling.
Color: straw yellow with green reflections, typical of Vermentino.
Tasting Notes: great balance between acidity, alcohol, and fruit with extremely rich, intense aromas of white flowers and almonds, along with complex tropical nuances that pleasingly linger on the palate.
Nose: intense and persistent aromas of sardinian mandarin and white almond flowers.
