Produced from a special selection of Tuscan Sangiovese and a small percentage of Merlot, carefully grown by the Losi family in its vineyards, San Brunone expresses its strong and full body character, also due to a careful monitoring for an optimal aging.
The name recalls the founder of the Carthusian monk order, who while travelling to Rome, spent some time in the countryside near Siena and founded the Carthusian monastery of Pontignano.
Obtained from a special selection of Tuscan Sangiovese, this wine shows its own character after a master refining.
The Chianti Classico LOSI Millennium was produced for the first time in 2000 with the exceptional vintage 1997.
The production has been subsequently repeated with selected grapes only in the best vintages.
This authentic traditional wine really enhances the characteristics of its territory, Chianti Classico.
Through the years, the Losi family has successfully given to this wine an own hallmark, while maintaining unchanged its unmistakable fragrance and scents.
