It is the expression of Bolgheri’s terroir and its potential both in the immediate future and in its ability to give the best of itself in aging.

Each variety of each individual parcel is vinified and matures in barriques separately for about half of the aging period, then after a rigorous tasting the best masses are blended and continue aging to obtain the best expression of the vintage.

The distinctive features are the structure and depth of the sip aimed at elegance and complexity supported by a background freshness of balsamic and mineral notes.

Pruning Cordon trained

Planting density 5680 plants/hectar

Harvest Manually, in boxes containing each one maximum 15 kg of grapes. Grapes are cooled before vinification.

Winemaking After de-stemming and soft crushing, each variety separating starts maceration and alcoholic fermentation for 15-18 days at a temperature not exceeding 28°C. After malolactic fermentation the wine is decanted into barrels.

Aging 60% new French fine oak barriques and 40% used barriques for 16 months at temperature and umidity controlled.
