Grapes:
Merlot 85%, Syrah 15%

Colour:
Intense ruby

Nose:
Intense, pleasant and with a balanced aroma, with hints of black cherry and toasted notes of bitter cocoa

Taste:
Harmonious and well-structured, with soft, enveloping tannins

Vineyard data:
Soil facing south-east, of medium texture and sub-alkaline reaction, spurred cordon training system, planting density 4,000 plants/ha. Altitude: 350/400 m a.s.l. Yield: 50 quintals/ha.

Vinification technique:
Destemming, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Fermentation and maceration on the skins for about 15 days, malolactic fermentation carried out in cement vats.
Ageing in 10hl barrels for about 12-15 months and subsequent refining in bottles for about 12 months.
