Franciacorta DOCG FLAMINGO ROSÉ BRUT

Organoleptic characteristics: Bright pastel pink colour. Sharp nose of pomegranate and hints of horseradish, closure of star anise. Taut wild and creamy mouthfeel of blood orange with saline caper closure.

Area of production: Franciacorta Docg, Morainic Hills of the municipalities of Bornato, Brescia, Cazzago San Martino, Passirano, Adro, Iseo, Rodengo Saiano.

Cru: 12 cru spread over 70 hectares of vineyards strategically distributed over the territory of Franciacorta.

Ground structure: Glacial-Morainique of the Monte Rossa hill areas plus some sandy and clayey soil lands.

Used vines: 60% of Chardonnay and 40% of Black Pinot.

Cuvée: 85% of wines obtained by our best with 15% of Vintage wine.

Growing system: “Cordon Royat” at 70 cm. from the floor.

Vineyard layout: 2x1 m

Density of growing: 5000 trees/hectar.

Average longlasting of the vines: 18 years.

Average grape yield per hectar: Max. 95 quintals per hectar.

selection of grapes: on the vines by manual grape harvesting in boxes.

Vinification: soft pressing of grapes selecting their best part for no more than 55% of yield. Each cru is vinified in purity.

Fermentation: part of it is fermented in steel tubs kept at controlled and the remaining part in oak barrels.

Refining in bottle: minimum 24 months.
